Job Description: Sales Manager (MBA Graduates)
We are in search of ambitious MBA graduates from esteemed institutions such as IIMs and others to join our team as Sales Managers who will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market segments for business expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, emails, and networking events.
- Collaborate with the Head, of Sales Development to devise innovative strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Participate in client presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value proposition of our products/services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals tailored to the needs and preferences of potential clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively contributes to formulating and executing the sales strategy for the assigned market.
Expertise in segmenting, developing, and targeting the market according to the company’s value proposition and product strategy.
Formulates strategies for marketing thrust areas and drives demand generation through solution-oriented and consultative selling.
Identifies opportunities to create new or enhanced products and manages a pipeline of future outsourcing business opportunities.
Proactively identifies upsell opportunities for existing clients.
Collaborates with Sales Leadership to ensure consistency across sales processes, targeting, prospecting, branding, and sales support materials.
Takes primary responsibility for achieving sales targets and plans and executes cross-selling strategies for existing accounts.
Ensures the use of appropriate client development tools, processes, and systems for client planning and forecasting.
Maintains CRM database for pipeline and individual accounts.
Builds on existing domain expertise in the sales function, leads the RFP process, and negotiates SLAs/SOW.
Manages sales forecasting, pipeline, and planning frameworks in the market.
Represents the product during demos and selling situations, delivers webinars and training sessions, and supports proof of concepts.
Role Requirements:
MBA degree from a reputable institution, with a focus on Sales or Business Development.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Results-oriented approach with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Proficiency in using sales tools and technologies, such as CRM software, to manage leads and track sales activities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all interactions.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and industry knowledge.
Prior experience in business development, sales, or consulting roles will be advantageous.
